Let’s All Be Free is a cross-platform initiative that explores and celebrates what it means to be free. We are a platform for creativity and debate; a film festival; an interactive website; a social media presence; a blog; an outreach program and an aim to spread awareness of what freedom means to individuals across the planet.
Our Mission? To open a safe forum where people from all over the world can discuss freedom’s many definitions and implications and in doing so foster acceptance, discovery and further global understanding.
The Let’s All Be Free Film Festival came back for a third year, and was a huge success!
Our aim is to explore the concept of freedom through the medium of film.
We screened a diverse selection of short fiction, documentary and expression films submitted from all around the globe, alongside spoken word performances, audience Q+A’s, and a panel discussion.
Prizes were awarded to the winning filmmakers of each category at our London festival, in front of an audience of film-lovers, artists, and everyday people.
Keep an eye out for future events to come along and join in exploring and celebrating freedom!
The LABFFF2015 will be held on 16-18th October at Motel Studios.
The festival screens a diverse selection of short fiction, documentary and “expression” films from across the globe.
Our blog is a place where we share thoughts, essays, and poems on freedom, as well as news about our events and the festival.
We collaborate with a wide range of writers and are always happy to hear from new ones – so feel free to submit your writings here, and stay tuned for the latest posts!
What does being free mean to YOU?
We invite everyone to send us their photos, artwork and videos that encapsulate the subjective idea of freedom.
Visit our galleries to see what other people have submitted so far – and join the exchange of visual ideas!
Here at Let’s All Be Free, we want to practice what we preach and make access to this site, our film festival, and everything else we do completely free of charge.
But as we receive no governmental funding, we rely on donations from people like you to help keep this project going. Every penny helps!
